Vegan Snickers Bars #desserts #cakerecipe #chocolate

The caramel layer was the hardest part since I needed to make it as solid as could be allowed, yet tasty. My first form was made with coconut sugar, in any case, the caramel layer didn't solidify in the refrigerator or cooler, so for the following rendition I utilized dark colored sugar which worked better yet I didn't care to utilize so much sugar and moreover, the caramel layer turned out excessively firm.

It's the ideal opportunity for a delectable treat which will make your mouth water. These tasty Vegan Snickers Bars are an awesome treat in the event that you adore chocolate as well as caramel and cream. Is it true that you are prepared for this sans dairy, without gluten, no-heat formula? Indeed? Alright, we should begin!

It took me ages (alright, not ages, yet numerous weeks) to flawlessness this formula. I have gone for somewhere around 5 distinct adaptations and most likely put on 5 pounds of weight while I tried the formula (simply joking, it's about equalization, right). At last, I concocted a form which I truly love and an adaptation which is similarly heavenly and much more advantageous. I will incorporate the two forms beneath.

For the base, I basically utilized my sound no-prepare brownies formula. It's a standout amongst my most well known formulas on my blog and I figured is there any valid reason why it shouldn't be a piece of these delightful Vegan Snickers Bars?! For the cream layer, I utilized cashews, coconut cream, a fluid sugar (you can utilize agave syrup, maple syrup or rice syrup and so forth). I included 1/2 measure of oat flour however you can, obviously, likewise use almond flour for a grain free form.

Ingredients

  • No-bake Brownie Base (see instructions)
  • Cream Layer:
  • 1/2 cup coconut cream (thick part of a chilled coconut can) (120 g)
  • 2/3 cup cashews soaked (100 g)
  • 1/2 cup oat flour or almond flour (50 g)
  • 2 tbsp maple syrup or agave syrup (40 g)
  • 1/2 tsp vanilla extract
  • Caramel Layer:
  • 1/3 cup + 1/2 tbsp maple syrup or agave syrup (120 g)
  • 1/2 cup coconut milk (120 ml)
  • 6 tbsp brown sugar (or coconut sugar) *see recipe notes (60 g)
  • 1/4 cup smooth peanut butter or sunflower seed butter (60 g)
  • 1/8 tsp salt
  • 4 tbsp peanuts (optional)
  • Chocolate Layer:
  • 6 tbsp cacao butter melted (80 g)
  • 1 1/2 tbsp coconut oil melted (20 g)
  • 3 tbsp maple syrup or agave syrup (60 g)
  • 1/2 cup cocoa powder (40 g)

Instructions

  1. Soak cashews in warm water for at least one hour, then discard the water (you can also boil them in water for 15-20 minutes or until they are soft).
  2. Make the no-bake brownie base as per the instructions in the recipe and press the dough firmly into a pan (lined with foil or parchment paper). My pan measures 8 1/2 x 6 inches. If you use a bigger pan the bars will be less thick.
  3. For the cream layer, process all ingredients in your high-speed blender or food processor until smooth and creamy. Pour the cream layer onto the brownie base and put the pan into your freezer until the layer is firm (approx. one hour).
  4. Put all ingredients for the caramel layer (except the peanuts) into a saucepan and bring to a boil. Stir with a whisk and let simmer on low heat for about 10-15 minutes until the mixture gets thicker. Pour the caramel layer onto the cream layer, place the peanuts on top, and put the pan back into the freezer for about 30 minutes. Check the recipe notes if you want to make the caramel layer with dates!
  5. For the chocolate layer, melt the cocoa butter and the coconut oil in a double boiler (I made a water bath). Place all ingredients in a saucepan and stir until combined. Pour the chocolate onto the caramel layer and put the pan back into the freezer for about 15 minutes. Check the recipe notes for a SIMPLE chocolate alternative.
  6. Cut into your desired size and shape (it works best with a hot knife). Enjoy your Vegan Snickers Bars thawed!
